NOTICE: This is a
match for competition; not a training session for those who don't know how to handle
firearms! Competitors should know the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship
and firearm safety. Accommodations will be made for those with physical disabilities. |

EQUIPMENT:: |
This is a rifle ‘shoot’ for Big Bore Calibers
of the Buffalo years, 40/60’s, 40/70’s, 45/70’s, 45/90’s, 50/110’s etcetera nothing
less than .40 caliber and no modern magnums.
Three divisions: Rifles with scopes, Rifles
with ‘Iron Sights’ and Rifles with ‘Tang rear sights and Globe front sights’.

SQUADDING: |
8:30 A.M. Firing points for advance-registered competitors will be held until 5
minutes prior to the beginning of the relay.

COURSE: |
Scopes and Iron Sights shoot two targets at 100 yards and two targets at 200 yards, 5 rounds at each target for a total of 20 rounds. Tang sights shoot one target at 100 yards, two targets at 200 yards and one target at 300 yards, 20 rounds total for score.
There will be a separate ‘Shoot’ for Traditional and In Line Muzzle Loaders which tentatively is scheduled for August 2nd on the upper range. Contact Richard McKinney at Richard.mckinney@hp.com
